Muscatatuck

These shots (in 2009) are from Mascatatuck National Wildlife Refuge near Seymour, IN. The blue heron, in the first two pictures, is really a beautiful bird.  Most of them down there were pretty shy.
I also spotted the little deer out in the field as we were driving around.  Couldn't get a real good shot so you'll have to look at these. :)

Muscatatuck

More pictures from Muscatatuck. My daughter said the bird sit on that sign all the time. She must have a nest close by because we stopped right beside her and she didn't fly away.

Milkweed

Has anyone else ever seen a white milkweed? We went down to where our daughter is working yesterday (Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge) and she showed us this milkweed which was white as you can see. I've never ever seen one before and I've been around milkweed all my life. It looked healthy and was surrounded by other normal looking milkweed.
