Grand Tetons

Skywatch Friday...Click here to go to Wigger's World

These are pictures in Grand Teton National Park. Even though I think the sky is pretty here there's nothing exceptional about it but I do like the pictures as a whole. I think the Tetons are beautiful. They look so majestic rising from the floor of a canyon. There are several web cams that take a picture of the Tetons ever so often. One, located on the Idaho side of the Tetons, is located here. There's another one located on the Wyoming side located here.

On a side note if you want to see(and hear) Old Faithful live go here and launch the live web camera. If you go here and look at the top of the picture it will give you the next predicted eruption. Of course, Yellowstone is in the Mountain Time Zone so appropriate adjustment must be made. The pictures below were captured off the the web cam at Yellowstone National Park and really have a beautiful sky in them.

You're right, the photograph as a whole is spectacular. I love it, crisp blue, wafty cirrus, magnificently magestic Tetons.... Awesome... I have a friend who will be hiking the tetons soon. I can't imagine.

My SWF shot is up on my blog.

I prefer the mountan pics without the hordes of onlookers.

OOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooohhh! Wow! These are just so gorgeous! It makes me want to go back there again. If only gas didn't cost over $4.00 a gallon now.

Neal: What do you mean nothing special. How can you show the mountains and Sky without being impressed.
