Jasper area

All of these pictures are in the general area of Jasper, AB.  It is a beautiful area.  We stayed at a B&B there...should have been called a B because there was no breakfast :).   Even though I had been there before I still enjoyed it immensely. A couple of the pictures were taken at either Patricia or Pyramid Lake which you can see on the Google Map. We went out there and sat for a while just to enjoy the view.

Malaigne Canyon

All of these pictures are from Malaigne Canyon in Jasper National Park in Canada.  The hike down the canyon is a beautiful hike with lots of small waterfalls.  If you'll notice in the second and third pictures the water is just pouring out of the side of the mountain.  It's not obvious in the second picture but you can clearly see it in the third picture. I took several short video clips and have put them at the end of the pictures.

Even though I don't think these pictures are anything special I do think they are kind of pretty. They were taken at Jasper Lake in Jasper National Park in Canada.

These pictures were taken at the Columbia Ice Fields near Jasper National Park in Canada. To access the ice fields you ride a snowcoach shown in the top picture. It's kind of neat to get out and walk around on ice that's been there for hundreds of years.
