Tulip Festival

Just got back from the Tulip Festival in Holland, MI.  These are just a few of the shots that I took of the tulips.  They were absolutely gorgeous and we were there probably at the peak.  It is hard to know when to quit taking pictures when you see such beauty all around.

Blue Ridge Parkway

No trip to that area would be complete without a little driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  We drove to Maggie Valley and go on the Blue Ridge Parkway at that point and drove until we got to the Waynesville exit and then got off.  As you can see from the pictures the weather wasn't very nice but it was still pretty.  In the last shot all I could see was fog except for a little window in the middle and I could see the mountains through the window...it was kind of neat in person.
