When we got to Nakusp, BC we found our motel and then went to sit on a bench that overlooked Upper Arrow Lake (the one we crossed on the ferry). We probably sat there for over an hour watching the scene change as the sun got lower in the sky. We also have an interesting conversation with one of the locals while we were sitting there. As you can see from the pictures below the scene did change quite drastically as the lighting changed. The next morning we got up, ate breakfast, and headed for Spokane. I think I only took 2 or 3 more pictures because there just wasn't much to take pictures of, especially since we had been spoiled by all the previous beautiful scenery.

Absolutely beautiful, Neal!
Nothing better than relaxing in front of a beautiful view with a loved one and watch the sun go down.
All the cloud reflections are really super!!!
Stunning pictures.
Amazing how much difference the lighting makes in photos... BUT--I love the reflection in the 2nd one from the bottom. AND--that last one is gorgeous.
Hugs,
Betsy
This is a beautiful photo sequence. I can understand why the two of you sat on the bench just soaking in the scene. Gorgeous!
