After our stop at Rogers Pass we continued west to Revelstoke, BC and went up the Meadows in the Sky Parkway. All the picture below are from that drive.
The picture above and the two below this were taken after we just started up the parkway. They show Revelstoke, BC from different angles. At the top there were some people feeding a couple birds and I managed to get several good shots of it. Don't ask what kind of bird it is...all I know is that it is one with feathers. :)
The shot above and the one below were taken as we came back down the parkway.

Gorgeous shots. The bird in question is a Grey Jay,they are very tame. Now you have me longing to head west and see some of my own country.
Another great place, Neal. How did you research all of this? Books? Library? Online? Just marvelous...
Who would have 'thunk' it..... A bird with FEATHERS... My My!!!!!!! ha ha

Hi Neal, what gorgeous photos! I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Thank you so much for sharing!
Beautiful shots! Wish I knew what this last bird is, I have never seen one like it!
Great shots, Neal - I hope to get up that road on my motorcycle when I'm down that way in June. Grey jays (a.k.a. Canada jays or Whiskey jacks) are wonderful birds to have around - they're real characters.
Looks like you are right up there in the clouds!
You're always telling me the birds pose for me. I think you were quite the bird whisperer yourself. :)
Beautiful, beautiful shots.
