Emerald Lake

The first picture was just a stream that was running along the road and we decided to stop and look at the area because I thought the stream was pretty.  The rest of the pictures are around Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park.  We walked completely around the lake and if I remember correctly it was about 3.5 miles. There is a beautiful lodge on the lake. The video at the end (not mine) tells a lot about the lodge.  That would definitely be a nice place to stay.

These are all just gorgeous!!! The first one is in a road??? It looks like a cascade somewhere in the wild.

This are fantastic pictures. It's easy to see how the lake got its name. Your pictures are absolutely beautiful, as usual.

Another group of fantastic photos, Neal. I told George this week that for our next BIG trip (none this year) we should go to Canada instead of Yosemite.

Thanks for sharing. By the way, we may want your itinerary for that trip.

Hugs,
Betsy
