A morning walk

I got out to go for a couple walks and the first thing I saw was these two cute deer about 150 feet from my brothers house. They heard me coming and run a little and then stopped to see what I was.

On down the railroad is this little house (Rose will recognize it).  I would like to know how many different people  have lived in it in my life time.

A little farther down is this view with the old farm house that was occupied when I was a kid but has been empty for years.

The picture below was taken from the cemetery where my baby brother(born dead) is buried.  I don't know exactly which grave is his since the grave is unmarked.

The picture below shows a little of the Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) campus where my niece works as an admissions counselor.  I actually went there a couple years before I came to Indiana.  It is a small school but has a very beautiful campus.

The picture below is taken towards my brother's and niece's house.

I love that rolling countryside. Of course dressed in the finery of fall it is especially beautiful.

Thanks for taking us along on your walk. The autumn colors are beautiful, as were those two little deer. You sure grew up in a beautiful area.

Really pretty fall shots!
I like the lay of the land in these. Ruth used the word rolling. I would too. Lovely country.
I like the little green house. Looks like the boat is almost bigger than the house!
You scared the poor little deer did you. They stopped long enough for you to get a picture so they must have thought they could trust you. :)

I'm so glad that you got to go back to TN this Fall. The colors are marvelous... Wish I had the money to buy that old farmhouse and fix it up!!!!

Have a nice weekend,
Betsy
