Yuki

I know these pictures are not any good but I have to post them anyway. Our little dog (Yuki, which means snow in Japanese) died on Wednesday of this week and these are some of the last pictures taken of her(taken with my phone).  It was hard to get a picture of her because she knew when you were trying to take her picture and she would turn her head away.  It was so sad to see her die.  She has been our companion for the last 14 years.  She loved everyone and thought everyone should greet her when walking down the street.  Those of you who have had pets know how difficult it is to lose one.  They are part of the family.

OH Neal, I am so sorry to hear about Yuki's death. My Duchess was about 15 when she died... I think a piece of me died with her.. I had a rough time --and missed her so much. YES--we do get close to our pets... So very very sorry.

Hugs to you and your family,
Betsy

She looks so sweet. You can tell from the pictures she was very contented. I know there is a big empty spot in your life.
I know what Betsy's saying - a piece of yourself goes with them when we lose our pets.
My thoughts are with you.

I'm sorry to hear that Yuki has died. I know you will miss her -- especially the way she would turn away when you tried to take her picture.
