Near Havana, IL

This was/is a lake near Havana,IL. We were there last year and it had a lot of water in it so you could launch a boat.  However, this year it was a marshland with almost no water.  I don't know if that was by design or if they just haven't had enough rain to keep it full.  Everything else looked pretty green so it didn't look like it had been dry.

How strange. The picture is quite lovely, with the way the clouds are kind of mirroring the effects of the lake bed. Glad to see you posting, it's been awhile!

Hi Neal, Bet it is the lack of rain... We are back to DRY again.. We had no rain in July/August --and then a gob of rain all at the same time in Sept.... Too much rain also is not good. NOW---we are dry again. Go Figure!!!!
