Pikes Peak
All these pictures were taken (by my wife) from the Pikes Peak toll road in January of this year. We'll be in CO later this year and I'm going to drive to the top. It wasn't open all the way to the top when my wife and daughter went up it. I've driven it before and loved it.
Above is I-25 out of Colorado Springs.

These are beautiful pictures. I like the snow-covered mountains. I look forward to the pictures you'll get from the top later this year.

Lovely pictures.If my Dad had had his way years ago,we would have driven to the top,but Mom said no.

We have had horrible storms here today --with lots of damage in TN and Alabama. The tornado sirens went off TWICE for us today... Scary!!! Luckily, we are fine --but many people are not. It was a very long, scary day.

Ah Ha, I've been there... waaay back in 1984... I was 14. It was the summer my lil sister was born & I hated to leave her & go off w/ my grandparents, but it was COLORADO for crying out loud... it was AWESOME!!! =)
Yes, I still talk like I'm 14! heheheee!
