Birds

These were taken at a place where they rehabilitate birds. As you can see all the birds are in cages except the last shot (not a good one) which was an owl flying around in the wild. Right after I took this shot s/he swooped to the ground and caught something. Before I could get another shot s/he was gone.

It's nice that there is a facility near you to rehabilitate birds. Perhaps the owl will be more cooperative the next time you see it.

I agree with George,it is good to see these places..Birds need that little extra help to heal,and here is where they can get just that.

My but they blend in so well with their surroundings. Did you go on a tour of this place? We have one very close and toured it a few years ago.

Having a facility close by is a great way to be able to see some of the bigger birds. I'd love to photograph these. You did well focusing past the cage! :)
At least you've seen an owl in the wild - I'm still wishing....
