Glenn Highway

 This is what it looked like the next day after we went into Denali so you can see that were very blessed the day before.

 The picture above and all the ones below were taken on the Glenn Highway.  As you can see the weather wasn't the greatest but it was still beautiful.  The streams are glacial run-off and the water has a funny color to it since it contains so many minerals.

I love your header with the clouds in front of the mountain. The glacial run-offs look so strange, almost like you might envision Mars or another planet! Remember the canals of Mars theories? It makes me think of that.

Hi Neal, More gorgeous pictures from Alaska.. Glad you saw the "High One" the day before.. BUT---I also love pictures with storms, clouds, fog in them... VERY nice.

These pictures are wonderful. The low-lying clouds add to the atmosphere of the photos. Seeing all that glacier runoff is amazing.

It is probably a good thing I have not made it up there...I would not want to come home. Too many places to explore.
