Mt. Rainier

Mt. Ranier under clouds.  I distinctly remember going on this hike.  It was in the 40s and I was wearing jeans and a short sleeve pullover shirt and I got a few odd looks because I was wearing short sleeves.  However, I wasn't cold at all until we top the crest of a mountain and the wind was blowing about 35-40mph over the top.  It sure didn't take me long to get my looking done and get below the crest. :)

I have no idea what this is.  I don't know if we figured out what it was and I just forgot (after all it has been over a year. :)) or if we ever even figured it out.  All I know is that it's kind of odd looking.

I like those pictures of Mount Ranier, but I'm very much impressed with the fact that you hiked up it. I'm sorry I can't help you identify the plant.

Majestic pictures!! I had to click on the weird plants. They look like little feather dusters.

I hated coats growing up and even in winter wore just a jacket. Sometimes people look at me funny when I'm only in a sweatshirt over a t-shirt in the dead of winter. :)
Gorgeous views. Even with cold winds at the top I know you're glad you were there.

I think the plant might be the seed head of a pasque flower.
