Leaving Skagway

When we got back to Skagway we didn't mess around very much before we got on the ship. We hadn't eaten since morning so we were both kind of hungry. We got on the shipped, messed around for a little while, and then went to dinner. As usual, after dinner we went to our room, changed clothes and headed for the open deck. All the pictures below were taken from there. We were following another cruise ship out so you can see it in the distance. It was really beautiful that evening.

You will see many waterfalls from the ship oh this cruise. I would guess there are more in the spring and early summer when the snow is melting but I don't know that for a fact. This is not all the waterfalls we saw leaving Skagway but it gives you the general idea.

Like somebody said about an earlier post (Tricia maybe) I don't see how you could stand having to leave such a gorgeous spot to come back home. Beauty so wonderful your heart breaks just looking at it.

Still thinking I would not want to leave up there if I ever made it that far....
