After visiting Mendenhall Glacier we headed down a road to St. Therese's Shine. I don't remember the significance of the shrine but it sure was beautiful out in the area. All the shots below are either at the shrine or on the road to the shrine. I took several consecutive shots to create the panoramic shot at the bottom. I didn't take the time to do it correctly so the seams show up but you can look and get the general idea of the beauty. The seams show up less in the second shot.

Church at St Therese's Shrine
Inside of church
Whale we saw while at shrine
Panoramic shot...not very good but you can see a wide area at least.

Absolutely fabulous, Neal..... Can you imagine worshipping at that church???? I would feel God --just in the beauty all around the shrine. Thanks for sharing. What a glorious place.

I sure love that church--both inside and out. And the rest is just breath-taking.

All the gorgeous scenery, a church you go actually go in, and a whale - what a vacation!
