I don't know the first one but I really like the look of it. It looks awfully small for two bees to be on it. :)
The bird of paradise is beautiful -especially the last one.

Thank you for the belated birthday wishes. (hugs) I hope you and your wife had a wonderful Valentine's Day as well!

Both flowers are beautiful - never seen the first one. But the second is amazing in it's form and colours! In Norway you have to pay a fortune for one of those! But then - you only need one! Beautiful pics!

The first one is a new beauty to me. I once did a painting of a bird-of-paradise; learned to know the details of that beautiful flower. Wonderful photos.

The first picture is a Bottlebrush (Callistemon) flower a genus with 34 species of shrubs in the family Myrtaceae.
Great pictures!!

Neal, More great pictures from Hawaii.. I hadn't heard from you all weekend--so I thought maybe you all had gone out-of-town. What did you do to celebrate Valentine's Day???

Thank for sharing the pictures.

The first one looks to be A Kunzia, commonly called Red Robin.

I love the first picture of the bird of paradise...simply because the color seems more saturated.
