Golden Gate bridge

Toll booths on bridge

These pictures of the Golden Gate bridge in SF don't do it justice. The area around it was fixed up beautifully. I was watching the show "Dirty Jobs" a while back and the guy was walking the suspension cables (the cables that run to the top of the towers that support the weight of the bridge) changing light bulbs. I would dearly love to walk along the top of that ... with my camera of course.

Beautiful pictures, Neal..I've been there was I was 10 yrs. old --so obviously, I don't remember much about it. Guess I need to add it to my already LONG list. Ha!

We're going to be gone a couple of days--celebrating Valentine's Day doing some 'waterfalling'...

Happy Valentine's Day,
Betsy

I saw that show - love the show too.
I can't fathom changing bulbs when I can't even imagine walking on the walkway all the way across.

The camera & ropes tied to every single inch of the body, so you don't fall!!!!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I've never been to San Francisco, but I would love to see that beautiful bridge in person. I'm not sure I would want to walk the cables, however! In the meantime thanks for the neat pictures.
