Fort Harrod

These pictures are a tree that was at Fort Harrod State Park in Harrodsburg, KY. It was one of the oddest trees I've ever seen. I have put a picture of the sign in from of the tree at the top of the blog.

Hello Neal, what a lovely old tree you've taken here, so interesting with quite a history I'm sure. Thanks for adding the explanation at the top of your post. I also wanted to thank you for your visit. I need to use a tripod too as I had a lot of blurry shots along with those that I put on Today's Flowers (thank goodness for digital). Also I need one because the macro lens is heavier than most and my hands get tired. I see a tripod on my list for Santa this year :) Have a great week.
