Today's Flowers

Don't ask me what kind of flowers these are because I don't know. :) All I know is that I took the pictures in Alaska. :)

Living in Brazil, I have had no idea about the flowers from Alasca.
It's fantastic! So beautiful with so many kinds of forms and colors!

Beautiful flowers, Neal! I believe they are rhododendrons. Lovely captures!

They are very beautiful Rhododendrons, they come fron the Himalayas, and, having been introduced to great Britain, some wild species cover whole hillsides of Scotland and Wales. They look aspectacular but are a pest plant. Luckily the cultivars behave themselves better.

A riot of colour, awesome. Arija is right about them being Rhododendrons, they have been introduced in many parts of the world.

I think they are rhododendrons. We have them here also in Austrian gardens but they do not like too cold temperatures.
They have wonderful colours!

Lovely photos! Rhododendrons, these are, and a nice variety of colors. I admire these, but Arkansas is a bit too hot, in most areas, to grow them.

So, so beautyfull! I am dreaming about rhodos, but there is no shadow in my garden, and finnish rhodos needs that. I maybe have to wait until our little forest has gown enough...
