Denali National Park

If you enlarge this picture and look closely you can see a mama grizzly bear and her two cubs. We saw these, in Denali National Park, in a distance so this is as close as I could get with my camera. All together we saw 7 grizzlies, a lot of caribou, foxes, bald eagles, golden eagles, dall sheep, marmots, and host of birds. It was an interesting trip into the national park. It was an all day trip so we were tired but excited as the trip came to an end.

Later on, after the top photo, we saw this grizzly and s/he was putting on a show. S/he walked out on the snow and walked around a minute or so and then laid down on the snow and slid down it on his/her back. I think s/he knew we were watching. :)

Hope you're having a great weekend.

HI Neal,
Just stopped back by. I was watching TV last night and there was a show on about Alaska. They showed Denali and as I sat there I was saying "that looks like Neals photos." I thought it was cool I had seen it here first. :)
