These pictures were taken one night of our Alaskan cruise as the sun was setting. I kept saying to myself that this is the last picture but the scene would change and I'd take another shot. I probably took 15 shots of the sunset and all were different.

Once upon a time there was this great and fantastic group of people who blogged and photographed … with a click, click here, a snap, snap there, all of them had a week to look upon the sky … day and night, by dusk or dawn, sunrise or sunset … and always there where great and fantastic photos to be seen when SKY WATCH was opened …
I am one of those proud sky watchers and I really enjoy each and every one of the photos you show us. I really think you are a first class sky watcher!

*gulp* ... these are simply gorgeous. The colours are so vibrant. I understand about the "just one more image" syndrome. Happens to me all the time.

These are incredible! When I opened the page, my heart actually fluttered at this amazing sight! I am so glad you shared these and took so many pics of the many phases of a magnificent Alaskan sunset. I need to add one of those cruises to my list of things I must "Dew" before I die. Awesome!
