Fall foliage

We went for a little drive on Friday to see the leaves.  Even thought they aren't as pretty as last year there are still some very beautiful scenes out there.  We went to Morgan Monroe State Forest near Martinsville, IN and took most of these pictures. After leaving Morgan Monroe we went by Lake Lemon where I took the last two pictures.  It's almost impossible to capture the real beauty but with a little imagination you can imagine just how beautiful it really was.

Beautiful, Neal… I got outside this afternoon and took one more set of photos around the yard….Many leaves came down when we had that horrible wind storm --but there are still some pretty colors ---mostly browns/yellows/golds….

Love your photos especially the 3rd one showing the reflections…

Hugs,
Betsy

I think you did a great job of capturing the autumn colors, especially in that third picture with the reflections in the lake.

I think you did a great job of capturing all that beauty. Through the avenue of blogging,I get to enjoy an extended fall, because out here the trees are mostly bare by now.
