Blue Ridge Parkway

No trip to that area would be complete without a little driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  We drove to Maggie Valley and go on the Blue Ridge Parkway at that point and drove until we got to the Waynesville exit and then got off.  As you can see from the pictures the weather wasn't very nice but it was still pretty.  In the last shot all I could see was fog except for a little window in the middle and I could see the mountains through the window...it was kind of neat in person.

These are marvelous photos. It's hard to get a bad picture on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Reminds me of that T.V. show "The Land That time Forgot" I love it when the fog lays on the mountains like this. But it is no fun driving through it, especially at night. It shows up well in your shots.

Oh, these are wonderful...love that last one for sure. Another title for this post would have been The Hole in the Clouds!
