Muscatatuck

These shots (in 2009) are from Mascatatuck National Wildlife Refuge near Seymour, IN. The blue heron, in the first two pictures, is really a beautiful bird.  Most of them down there were pretty shy.
I also spotted the little deer out in the field as we were driving around.  Couldn't get a real good shot so you'll have to look at these. :)

Beautiful shots. Getting a good Heron shot is not that easy,but these are great.

These shots of the Blue Heron are awesome, we have seen them from time to time, and aren't they such a large spectacular bird to spot? I bet your pictures are not near as bad as you think.

You know I've never gotten a photo of a heron. They seem to shy away from me. :)
These are great and of course I love that deer in those natural surroundings.
