McCormick's Creek State Park

We went down to McCormick's Creek State Park near Spencer, IN on Saturday and went hiking.  While there weren't many flowers coming up as you can see below there were some actually blooming. We also went to the small waterfall shown below.  It's not very big but it is still pretty.

And here we have a floating tree. :) How many of you have ever seen one of those?

Hi Neal, lovely photos...especially the waterfall! I could sit there for a while and enjoy the sound and aroma there...and, of course, taking some photos of it.

I love the cute flowers poking their heads through the dry leaves.

A waterfall doesn't have to be large to be beautiful, as you've shown with your wonderful photos. Small wildflowers are beautiful as well. I haven't been to McCormick's Creek since I was a kid. It looks as if it's time to get back there.

Boy, I did not realize it had been this long since I had commented...I think I may have made a floating tree a time or two in my life;)
