North to Jasper

After Peyto Lake we headed north for Jasper, AB Canada.  Of course, we had several stops along the way. The Columbia Ice-field was the stop that most people would recognize. They have buses going out on the ice field (of course it cost $$).  Both Patti and I have done that before so we didn't do it again.  However we did walk out to the ice-field.  We walked the hard way going out and the easy way coming back.  We could have driven a lot closer but the walk that we took to the ice field was a nice walk. There are other shots along the way and of course there are waterfalls for Betsy and George.:) There is a list of 13 short videos at the end.  You may not want to waste your time I'll let you know there are several waterfall videos.

It's interesting to see pictures from a different part of the world. Looking at your snow pictures - it's hard to think it is winter in another part of the world! In South Africa we're having a HOT summer.

It was nice of you to think of us. I really enjoyed your videos of the waterfalls. Now if only I could see them in person. Your photos are marvelous -- I really like the one of the yellow leaves against that brilliant blue sky.
