Lake Louise II

Even though it was the latter half of September these beautiful flowers were growing in front of the Fairmont Hotel at Lake Louise.  I looked on their web site (not a lot) and the cheapest room I saw was $350/night for 2 people and that was if you paid ahead.  Otherwise the rate was $470/night.  After taking pictures of the flowers we hiked to the other end of the lake where I took the last picture.

Beautiful shots of the lovely flowers. We were lucky enough to stay there when we were on tour with Scenic Tours. It is a huge place with nice restaurants.

With those rates, the garden is as close as we would get to this hotel as well. The flowers are beautiful, as is the setting of this hotel as shown in your last photo.

This is a beautiful place, but with prices like that all I would do would be to get some pictures outside.

Hi Neal,
Sorry I haven't been around. I had family the whole week before Thanksgiving and I'm slowly getting back to blogging. I've scrolled down all the posts I've missed. You sure have seen some breathtaking scenery. The color of the water is gorgeous in most of them.
Beautiful shots!
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Such beautiful flowers. And in the backdrop of those mountains they lend the landscape such beauty. Must gladden the heart to walk among them.
