Fossils

Some more Colorada pictures.  I thought it was interesting how they have the fossils held together in the pictures below.




Kind of an interesting pictures...Looks cold but they said it wasn't that cold.

These are neat pictures. I agree with you that it looked cold when the visited the fossil beds.

Really interesting, each so different. Wonder why the bee on their sign? Perhaps fossils of giant bees there? I love your header!

Fossils of tree stumps?
The last shot looks like it belongs to the Ingalls family and I'd love it if it were mine. :)

Went to the NPS site and took the virtual tour. Ahhh, petrified Redwood stumps!
