We're done

It is only fitting that the below picture was my final picture of our Colorado vacation.  I know my good friends George and Betsy would think seeing a waterfall was a good way to end a vacation.  This waterfall was just outside of Colorado Springs up a winding road..Cheyenne Canyon Road I believe.

You're not standing in the middle of a river taking this are you?
Just trying to picture where all that water is going. :)
Almost think I can see a face (right eye, nose, mouth) in the center of that rock.

RE: your comment on my barn post - I remember playing in a huge barn at my friends house. We played on the hay bales in the loft. Standing looking out you could see everything. Brings back memories for me too. The barn has long been gone.

I agree that any vacation which includes a waterfall this pretty is a good one. Thanks for sharing your Colorado vacation with us.

There's just nothing better than ending a vacation with a waterfall... That is awesome...

We have been in Gatlinburg for a couple of days -enjoying the Christmas lights with friends, and also enjoying the Smokies!!!

Merry Christmas.

Terrific photo. I admired it in bigger format for long a time.
