Dreary day

As you can see from these photos this day wasn't a very nice day.  It was foggy and raining most of the time.  Most of these pictures were taken through the windshield with the wipers going so you might see some raindrops in some of them.  Some were taken in Smoky Mountain National Park and some were taken on a one way road near Maggie Valley, NC.

Those roads through the beautifully coloured trees are so pretty,perhaps even more so in this kind of weather.

Even with the lousy weather, your pictures are terrific, Neal.... Love all of the Fall colors around you... Beautiful!!!! Love the fog on the mountains also.

I'm surprised that you could call any day in those beautiful mountains 'dreary'. It may have been raining, but I think that just highlighted the color. Your photos are wonderful.
