 We recently just returned from a vacation in CO so I thought I would make my first blog of pictures that Betsy just loves. :)
The picture above was taken in front of the Pawnee Grassland sign on the CO plains.  I tried to get him to move by dropping some pebbles on him but he wouldn't budge and never would rattle.  I wanted him to move because I was afraid someone would step on him if they got out to take a picture of the sign.

 This little fellow was in the mountains and I had no problem getting him a little riled.  As you can see in both pictures he is coiled and ready to strike.  He was also rattling those rattles to let us know that he was there.

You actually messed with a rattlesnake??? But you could have got bitten!! Are you serious? Are you joking?? I bet this is for fun?

No Ginny, I've grew up around rattlesnakes. I was 4 or 5 feet from the one that was mad. The other one I was probably 3-4 feet away from him dropping pebbles on him to try to get him to move.

You certainly met some interesting critters on your vacation, but after looking at these pictures I'm not sure I want to vacation with you.

Yipes.... those things are yuky... (Sorry Allison!).... Only you could go on vacation and see TWO rattlesnakes... Guess they are attracted to your 'rattler' personality!!!!!! har har har.....
