Family reunion

My wife's family has a reunion every 3 or 4 years and they always ask her to come but she never has so this year we decided to go.  All the pictures below are from the area around where the reunion was held.  It was in the mountains and around 9,000 feet in elevation.  They had two hummingbird feeders out and I've seen beehives that were not as busy as the feeders.  There would be a hummingbird at every port and others flying down trying to get in.  Both my wife and daughter got close to the feeders and eventually got some of the hummingbirds to land on their fingers.

The area was gorgeous and the weather was perfect. There were people from all over..California, Washington, Washington,DC, and Indiana of course.  They move the reunion around and were talking about Washington, DC for the next one.  I am not that much interested in going out there.

I would prefer this place to Washington, DC, for a family reunion. Washington, DC, would be very appropriate for a Klown Kollege reunion, but not for your wife's family reunion.

I have two hummingbirds - two. :)
I haven't seen this many in one place for years. My Mom used to have them like this.
