National cemetery

These pictures were taken at a National Cememtery in Macomb, IL. It's a beautiful cemetery and there's another (not National) cemetery that joins in. You can see the other cemetery in some of the pictures. It was beautiful there. The grass was so green and lush. The cicadas were out in full force there. When I first got out of the car I thought frogs were singing but it didn't take me long to realize that it was cicadas.

A lot of memories lie buried there.

Lovely pictures. Everything so lined up and straight, it looks well cared for.

This is every bit as beautiful as Arlington National.

Well-kept cemeteries can be very lovely indeed.
