Homer area

 Just north of Homer

Just north of Homer.  You can see the Homer spit out in the water on the left side of the picture.

Fisherman returning from their fishing trip.

 Homer, AK... Homer spit.

Wonderful pictures!! My favorites are the first and third, love the red fishing boat. I see those little houses tucked into the hills. Wonder if they are a fishing community, even though they are in the mountains?

I can't get enough of those beautiful snow-capped mountains. Thanks for another set of beautiful pictures.

Think I told you that Bert (in 2004 I think) took a long hike in the mountains across from the Homer Spit. He spent a couple of nights on the Homer Spit --and then took a boat to the mountains... He had a fabulous hike...

Have a great weekend.

My brother was named after my father - Homer.
