Denali

These are some shots as we head into Denali National Park. The won't let you drive in but so far and if you want to go farther you have to take one of their buses. I would love to drive in there myself and stop and look where I wanted to. If you look at the last picture you will see (look closely :) ) 3 grizzlies in the picture. If I was driving myself I would have sat an watched them for a long time but riding the bus they stop a minute or two and then move on.

Your pictures constantly reveal this amazing wilderness!
I'd want to stop and watch the grizzlies too. Seeing a grizzly in the wild would be one of the reasons to go to Alaska.

I think watching the grizzlies would be even more exciting than seeing the elk. Your photos are beautiful. I really do hope that we get to Denali some day.

I believe that for a photographer,it must be frustrating to not be able to stop where and when you want to.These images show a place of great beauty.

Great pictures and yes, I see the bears!! I think my favorite picture is the first one, with the different and contrasting looks of the mountains. I guess they don't want people driving every which way all over the place?
