Skagway II

The first three pictures are still from the train.

An old building in Skagway.
Looking down a street in Skagway.
Here goes the old steam engine out taking another tour.
We went to an old cemetery while in Skagway. This is kind of an interesting read if you can read it after it's enlarged.

That picture with all the little fir trees reminds me of the Alps! And I love the jewelers building, it looks vaguely Russian. These really are stupendous train pictures. I love the last one, where you can see just a tiny peek of the mountains through the black smoke.

You got more wonderful pictures of the train. I know you said you prefer the car, but your pictures sure make the train very attractive. The sign at the cemetery is fascinating. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I love that old building...and wish I could read that about the people in the cemetery...I can read their names...just not the details.
