Around Ketchikan

All these pictures are from our travel around Ketchikan. There were a lot of beautiful flowers so I am showing a few of the pictures we took of them. There are a couple places to go look at totem poles. One place we went the lady was carving one. It was a big one and I asked her how they charged for them and she said the one she was carving was about $1000 per foot.

At $1000 a foot, I'll pass on the totems, but the flowers are gorgeous! =)

The totem poles are interesting, but just a little outside my price range! The flowers are gorgeous -- I usually don't associate beautiful bushes with Alaska. Your pictures of the water and mountains are marvelous.
