The first three pictures are just outside Maggie Valley, NC. The sun was out bright and it was absolutely gorgeous. This was essentially the view we saw from our motel but since George and Betsy have already posted pictures from there I won't bother to post any more.

This big buck was out patrolling and watching out for all his females.  I think he was a little jealous because no other male was allowed to get very close to them. :)

Last but definitely not least here is Betsy preaching a sermon to us.  This was at a little church on the elk reserve.  Notice how she has worn out the Bible laying in front of her. :)
