More Juneau

No trip to Juneau would be complete without a trip to the Mendenhall Glacier.
Looking at the Glacier from across the lake.
Waterfall near the glacier
Looking across Mendenhall Lake
Another shot across Mendenhall Lake
One more shot across the lake as we are leaving.
We rented a car on this trip so we could explore more.  We didn't go on any excursions offered by the cruise line because neither one of us like to be tied down to a bus schedule.  We spent a lot more time at the glacier than we would have been able to spend if we were on a tour.

Oh My Heart----what fabulous pictures, Neal... I told George how much better I like seeing your pictures now that they are larger... I could always enlarge the other ones --but didn't always take the time to do it...

Love the blue skies and puffy clouds.. There's alot of water coming over the waterfall... Wow!!!!

That last picture is fabulous.. You should frame that one --along with about a million more... ha

Have a great weekend.

I agree with Betsy, the last one ought to be framed and hanging on the wall.Maybe even my wall? LOL
Each of these are gorgeous and make me want to see this part of the world in person.

I think all of these pictures are worthy of a frame. They are simply wonderful. I hope you have many more pictures for us.

I like the last one as the others do but I LOVE the one of the reflections in the lake. That one leaves me with the feeling of how vast and open the land must be.
But if you're inclined to be passing out pics I'll take one of the last ones to hang on my wall. ;)
