Ketchikan

All the pictures below either in or around Ketchikan. When we got off the ship the first thing we done was ran to several little shops around Ketchikan. My wife had coupons where she could get these little glass ornaments (they are very pretty) for 99 cents. I believe there were 4 stores that had them (each one had a different ornament). She bought a couple other small things and then we headed to get the rental car. Actually we called the rental place and they sent a kid down to pick us up. We drove around Ketchikan for most of the day and took a few walks to look at stuff. Ketchikan is an interesting little town.

All of these are again beautiful pictures. I appreciate the fact that you included a waterfall, but I have to say that I found the weird tree to be absolutely fascinating.

Rose couldn't pick but my favorite is the last one! Lovely shot!
The tree looks like it could have been the the model for some tall strange creature in Star Wars. A tall lanky animal of some kind. :)
Yes, I know I'm strange but it is what came into my mind.
You're getting into more populated areas now but the scenic backdrops are still majestic.

Great pictures of Ketchikan, Neal... Had you researched the area ahead of time to 'sorta' know where you were going??? I wouldn't have a clue as to where to go to see the important things in the area.

Love your pictures... That tree is interesting... Love the waterfall OF COURSE.

We went to the Smokies today to Cades Cove. We acted just like tourists with our cameras.... ha
