Hubbard Glacier.

All the pictures below (I know there are a lot :) ) are from Hubbard Glacier. The ice was beautiful and we got to see a few chunks break off and fall into the ocean. Several of the pictures are similar so I hope they aren't boring. Again, I couldn't make up my mind which pictures to post so I showed a lot of them. :) Even though I can't hear very well I could definitely here the sounds of the glacier. Sometimes it would sound like thunder.

I completely agree w/ Betsy, you could never post too many, especially of such GORGEOUS places!
Is there blue in the ice because it's compacted together so tightly?

I don't think I could ever get tired of your Alaska pictures. These are wonderful. I especially like the in the glacier that you captured.

Now, grown woman that I am know the glacier is hard - it's ice- but, why does it remind me of gel shaving cream! :)
Love the pics - keep them coming!
This is my summer (virtual) vacation!!!
