Daffodils

My wife was wanting some of the bright yellow daffodils and was going to get some from a friend and I happen to remember that there were some growing at our old home place in TN so I told her about them so she decided to get some of them. They were probably planted more than 60 years ago by my mom so I thought it would be neat to have them. We brought a bunch of them back but haven't planted them yet as it's suppose to get below freezing the next couple of nights.

I think it's neat that you got some daffodils that your mother planted. I hope theywill bloom for you another 60 years.

That is so neat, Neal. Getting your mother's Daffodils is just SPECIAL... I know you both will enjoy them. Do you have a special place to put them????

Such a special idea Neal!

We're expecting snow showers tonight. My daffodils are in full bloom and my bleeding hearts and the fruit trees. I'm not ready to go back. :)

How wonderful to plant daffodils once owned by your mother! What a fabulous idea. ;-) I like them when they're naturalized like they are in this photo.
