Sapelo Island, Georgia

Our daughter was on Sapelo Island Georgia over spring break and they happen to find a armadillo. That poor thing must have been scared to death by the time all the students handled it and played around with it. IIRC someone even dropped it.

Ahhh, I think you are prob right about it being so scared. He looks like he is hiding his eyes in that next to last pic!
They are quite big..having never seen one b/f!!
Sure hope he wasn't hurt when he was dropped!

Love that first photo!
I would NOT have handled it. :)
I'm assuming this is your daughter - she's lovely.

Your daughter is gorgeous, Neal.. Sounds like they had a good time on Spring Break. Me??? I wouldn't touch an Armadillo with a ten-foot-pole. Yuk!!!!

My cousin in Florida and her hubby have so much trouble with them tearing up their yard. They've killed about 30 or so of them just in the past few months. Glad we don't have them here.

No, this is not my daughter.

That second one from the bottom makes the armadillo adorable.

I've never seen the underside of an armadillo before. I'm not sure I agree with Rose that the picture makes the armadillo adorable, but it certainly is interesting.

Awww - That poor thing - it's probably devastated - it has a pig snout too!
