I just wanted to let everyone know that as of 11:00 PM last night (2/9) Rose officially became a grandma. I haven't talked to her but I know she is really, really excited from talking to her before. The little one is a baby girl ..... 6 pounds and 2 ounces and 19 inches long.

Hi Neal, I wrote her last night since I hadn't heard from her lately --and was worried. She did write me back telling me all about the granddaughter.. I wrote her back and congratulated her.. The first grandbaby is just SO special. Of course all of them are!!!! Hope you get to be a grandpa one day!!!

I couldn't believe she emailed me in the middle of the night. I was up and I smiled. I remembered the joy I felt last year.
I think Uncle Neal should go take pics of Rose and Grandbaby!:)
