Little Big Horn

These pictures were taken at the Little Big Horn Battlefield a couple years ago. It was interesting to read about the area and the battle and to stand, look out over the area, and try to imagine what it was like back then. Even though it was a big battle according to this there weren't a lot of casualties (268 US).

I've read quite a bit about the battle at Little Big Horn, so it was interesting to see some pictures. It looks like the area around the battlefield is very stark but beautiful.

Love that second picture. I can imagine the buffalo that must have been.
I often stand in places and wonder what it was like before civilization took over.
I don't know if I'd have survived being a pioneer but it would be neat to experience it for a day.

Excellent shots and I wonder if there are any ghosts there - spirits still fighting the battle?!

These are great! I've always wondered what it looked like there. I especially like the last one. The graves lined up like that remind me of Andersonville.
