Black and white

These are pictures that I actually took in B&W when I was in TN one time. They are pictures of Rose and I old home place (except for the barn which was our neighbor's barn). Rose probably doesn't remember a lot about that place because she was young when we moved from that place. However, I still remember it and still go back there just about every time I'm in TN. There were always a lot of rattlesnakes up in that hollow. We killed one or two about every year, sometimes in the yard.

Very somber in black and white.
Reminds me of 'faded photographs, memories in bits and piece' and my own childhood strolls through the woods.

If you are trying to make me homesick, you are succeeding! I don't think a person could take a bad picture of up there, do you?

Makes me think of Loretty and Butcher's Holler. Love the barn.

There are places from my life that I visit every time (or almost every time) I go back, too. It is always interesting to see the changes, or not.
