Middlesboro

Rose and I grew up just across the state line from Middlesboro, KY. There is a web cam that overlooks Middlesboro so Rose and I look at it about every day since it takes us back home. The above pictures are from that web cam. The top picture was taken when it was pretty clear so you can see what it normally looks like. The next pictures were taken in the early morning. Middlesboro supposedly sits in a crater from long ago and it seems like there's always fog in the morning and these pictures show the fog. Admittedly they aren't very good pictures as far as quality but you can definitely see the fog. If you browse on down to one of my other blogs you'll see a picture where the fog is on one side of the mountain and not on the other. The side with the fog is Middlesboro side taken from a different viewpoint.

The fog is so enchanting! Cool that you get to see "home" every day!

I'm laughing at myself Neal! Before I read your commentary I thought I was looking at water in that second photo. LOL!
That's a lot of fog!
