Grand Tetons

I know I've posted pictures of the Grand Teton mountains that I took last year but here is a new perspective. When we flew to Alaska we went right by the Grand Teton Mountains. The top two pictures show an aerial view of the Tetons and the bottom picture is one we took last year in the park. It looks like there's a lot more snow on them this year. I know you can't see everything from ground level but the picture I took last year is across the lake (even though you can't see it) and there wasn't much snow cover then and it was about the same time of the year.

I don't think anyone would complain if you posted pictures of those beautiful mountains every day.

Beautiful images from high in the sky!

More snow? I would think with all the talk of global warming it would be less. :)

Those are incredible aerial shots! I've seen the Tetons from the ground, but that is a spectacular view!

We had friends out West in June. While they were in Yellowstone they woke up one morning to 4 inches of snow. I think the snow has lasted longer this year.
