I like to get on the maps programs and explore. The above photos were captured from Microsoft's Live maps. The maps are the Bird's Eye view which is not available in all areas but nornally is available in large cities. This is a good way to explore and not burn any gas!!! :)

I have scrolled down now till the big stones - amazing; the Colorado skies were most beautiful pictures for me; and blooming plants of course too...thank you for sharing, thank you for visiting us!
I do somethig similar with Google Earth, I plan walking routes.. have a look around from above and the go and have a look around. It is surprising what I come up with at times.
These are wonderful quality pictures.
I appreciated your comment on my blog. You are right. Under the kind of pressure the political system let loose on him Obama became just another politician trying to protect himself.
I have just written a blog entry on how he was the perfect house "negro" (to use the polite term), acceptable to the white majority to come into the big white house and do their bidding. When he was put to the test by the media and others, he gave in and he denied the ethnic and cultural roots of the mass of field "negroes" symbolized in the person of Rev Wright.
After living 10 years in the black community in the US I have seen it all before. To be acceptable many blacks who think they can make a difference in the dominant community often have to make hard compromising decisions. Obama denied Wright "Et tu Brute". Wright said Obama had to be a politician so he must not have been surprised. Wright to his credit would not disassociate himself from Farraghan.
In spite of this "flaw" I think Obama is the best choice.
If I end up posting this blog entry I will let you know.
Very creative way to travel!
If not for photos like that I would not get to see much of the USA.
Thanks for visiting my blog today!
